Fabinho has been assimilating to English life and football over the last few months, following his £39 million arrival from AS Monaco in the summer.
The midfielder has been held back in the early-going by manager Jürgen Klopp, the German preferring to name familiar faces in his starting XI, namely Jordan Henderson, Georginio Wijnaldum, and James Milner.
With Milner facing a month on the sidelines with a hamstring injury, Klopp could have his hand forced with using Fabinho sooner rather than later.

Fabinho isn’t exactly impatient, however. Despite having made just one start in a red shirt this season, the 24-year-old is trusting the process. Quoted in the Liverpool Echo, the Brazilian said:
My process to adapt to English football has been very good,
Since pre-season I believe I have understood the way Jurgen Klopp plays and the way the team plays.
It is a new experience for me because Klopp has a different style of work from the way I’m used to but this is something I will learn.
I have learned a few things from him but it is just the start. He is a coach who demands a lot from his players, not just in matches but also on a daily basis in training.
Klopp was similarly restrained with his use of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain early in his Liverpool career, before inducting him fully into his lineup later in the season.
Fabinho may get a chance to shine on Merseyside in the coming weeks, with Reds fans eager to see just what their club has splashed the cash on.
