Italian Serie A side Napoli are preparing to submit a £50m bid for Liverpool and Chelsea target Federico Chiesa, according to a report on Talksport.
Liverpool have been monitoring Chiesa’s situation for some time but are now set to face a bidding war to secure the Italian winger’s signature.
Chiesa has found the net twice in the Serie A this season for Fiorentina, who are eager to keep hold of their highly-rated talent.
The winger was subject to interest from Napoli, Liverpool and Chelsea before the season started, but Fiorentina made it clear that he was not for sale.
However, Napoli are desperate to sign the 20-year-old and are understood to be readying a £50m bid for him.
Fiorentina are not expected to listen to offers during the January transfer window but if Chiesa continues to impress this season, then he could be sought after by numerous clubs in the summer.
