Barcelona midfielder Philippe Coutinho has recommended Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino to the Spanish giants.
According to The Mirror, Coutinho was the one to spark Barcelona’s interest in Firmino.
Barcelona have been linked with a swoop for the Brazilian forward as they begin to think about life after Luis Suarez.

The former Liverpool forward, Suarez, is 31 and coming towards the end of his peak, with Barcelona considering replacements.
Firmino is being eyed as a potential signing, after Coutinho gave him a glowing recommendation to Barcelona – having played alongside him at Liverpool.
Coutinho joined Barcelona from Liverpool in January for a deal in the region of £142m and is now looking to be reunited with one of his former teammates.
The 27-year-old, Firmino, has scored 53 goals in 155 appearances for Liverpool since his move from Hoffenheim in 2015.
