Liverpool will resume their Premier Lague campaign after the second international break of the season when they travel to face Huddersfield Town.
The break which hasn’t been kind to Jurgen Klopp’s men as injuries have hit a few of his players. Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah returned back to Merseyside after playing games last week, whilst Sadio Mane and Naby Keita suffered injuries too.
While the Dutchman and the Egyptian are set to start this weekend, the Senegalese and the Guinean star may not feature on Saturday.
Mane has an operation on a broken thumb whilst Keita suffered a hamstring strain and is most probably going to miss the game.
James Milner, who also suffered a hamstring injury of his own during the Manchester City game, has miraculously recovered and is now in contention to be involved to play the Terriers.
In terms of the game, Liverpool are unbeaten in the league and face a Huddersfield side who are struggling to create chances and keep clean sheets. The Reds won the corresponding fixture last season and will fancy their chances despite the recent injuries.
