Liverpool scouts will reportedly be present to keep a close on eye Hoffenheim’s Kerem Demirbay against Lyon tonight.
According to a report from Turkish-Football, the Reds will be watching the player following suggestions of a move to Anfield in the not too distant future.
It had been claimed that the Reds have held transfer talks with the German international as they look to secure a deal for either January or the summer transfer window.
The player has a £28 million release clause in his deal with the Bundesliga side, but the Reds will be hopeful of completing a deal.
The report claims that the player shares the same agency as both Sadio Mane and Naby Keita, something that could give Liverpool an advantage in negotiations.
