Suso’s release clause is a cause for concern at Milan, following interest from Liverpool, Tottenham and Chelsea.
According to reports in Italy, the club are worried that they could lose the player for lower than his market value, with the current release clause in his deal at the San Siro set at €40 million.
The Spaniard attracted interest from Chelsea, Spurs and his former side Liverpool over the summer when it looked like he could be on the move.

There was a short period of time over the summer where it appeared the Italians could be forced into a sale due to financial fair play reasons but following a takeover at the club that is no longer the case.
Milan remain keen to tie him down to a new long-term deal, but securing Champions League football may play a key role in convincing him to stay at the club.
