Nathaniel Clyne has not travelled with the rest of the Liverpool squad to Serbia because of an illness.
The Liverpool Echo have confirmed that Clyne will not be part of the travelling Liverpool contingent to face Red Star on Tuesday night.
The defender will now miss the Champions League game, with Trent Alexander-Arnold likely to come back into the side.
Clyne would have been hopeful about his chances of featuring against Red Star this week, seeing the game as an opportunity to get some minutes under his belt.

Liverpool will also be without Jordan Henderson and Xherdan Shaqiri, although they have been boosted by the news that Naby Keita will return to action.
The latter has been struggling with injuries since the Napoli clash and his return will come as a timely boost to Jurgen Klopp.
Dejan Lovren is also returning to the Liverpool squad, with the Reds looking to cement their place at the top of Group C.
