Jurgen Klopp hailed Liverpool’s performance against Fulham on Sunday, as they ran out 2-0 winners at Anfield.
Goals from Mohamed Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri were enough to take the Reds top of the Premier League momentarily, in what was a solid display.
Fulham didn’t always make it easy for the hosts, sitting deep and wasting time, but three points were deservedly secured in the end.
Klopp told Liverpoolfc.com that he was more than content with the outcome, admitting analysis of Fulham proved key:

Apart from scoring more goals it was a really good performance.
Fulham always have the quality to cause problems, it was this time really good for our analysis that we had the Man City games [against them] because even though results were pretty clear, especially in the league game I think, City had to work really hard in these games.
You only usually see the result but in this case we watched those games for analysis.
So no problem with that. We had to work hard, we won it, all good.

Liverpool remain two points adrift of leaders Manchester City, who beat Manchester United 3-1 at the Etihad later in the day.
The Reds are enjoying their joint-best start to a Premier League season, matching the feats of Gerard Houllier’s 2002/03 side in acquiring 30 points from 12 matches.
Wins such as Sunday’s are becoming routine these days, with Liverpool unbeaten at Anfield in the league since losing 2-1 to Crystal Palace in April 2017.
