Liverpool have been scouting highly-rated Lyon midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, report the Mirror.
The Lyon star is one of the most talked about players in Europe at the moment, following a string of impressive performances for the Ligue 1 club.
He isn’t without suitors and Liverpool are one of those who have sent scouts to watch him play.
The Reds’ Merseyside rivals Everton have also shown an interest in Ndombele, as have Premier League leaders Manchester City.

The 21-year-old is a box-to-box midfielder with huge amounts of ability and it is no surprise to see Liverpool monitoring him closely.
He would be perfect for Jurgen Klopp’s style of play and would also represent a long-term purchase.
The Reds were linked with Ndombele in the summer but he ended up staying loyal to Lyon, for the time being at least.
The France international is next in action on Tuesday night, as Lyon host City in an important Champions League clash.
