Legendary goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon doesn’t believe there is a better attack in Europe than Liverpool’s.
The 40-year-old will come up against the Reds on Wednesday night, as Paris Saint-Germain welcome Jurgen Klopp’s side to Parc des Princes.
It is a crucial Champions League meeting, with the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino key to Liverpool’s chances.
Speaking to the Mirror, Buffon believes that front three are the best in the business, despite him playing in the same team as Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani:

Liverpool have a very strong team – but I do especially look at their front players.
With Salah, Mane, and Firmino they have so much pace, so much creativity, and of course they are all big goal threats.
Throughout my career I have always wanted to test myself against the best – and at the moment you really can’t think of any teams in Europe who have a better front three than Liverpool.
Wednesday’s Group C clash is a huge occasion, with a victory for Liverpool sending them into the last-16.

Any other result will likely leave the Reds needing to win at home to Napoli next month – potentially by two clear goals.
Buffon could be kept busy by Liverpool’s attack, but were his comments a way of getting more out of Neymar, Mbappe and Cavani?
