Jürgen Klopp could be absent from Liverpool’s crunch match with Napoli in the final round of Champions League group stage matches.
The Reds have been left with it all to do after losing 2-1 to Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday evening, needing to either beat Napoli 1-0, or by two clear goals, should PSG win against Red Star Belgrade.
A frustrating match saw stop-start play from the opening whistle, and Klopp had some choice words for referee Szymon Marciniak.

The German is quoted by the Metro as saying:
We got the penalty, actually, the ref didn’t want to give it, I have no clue how that’s possible,
There was a clear red card exactly in front of me from [Marco] Verratti.
We won three times in a row the Fair Play table in England, today we looked like butchers.
The ref needs to be prepared for a game like this, and he looked not prepared, that’s being 100 per cent honest.
If UEFA decide Klopp’s comments fall on the wrong side of what is permitted, he could be excluded from taking to the dugout for the clash with Napoli.
UEFA banned Pep Guardiola for Manchester City’s match against Lyon in the group stages after he got a bit upset because his team went out in the quarter-finals of last year’s competition.
