Liverpool duo Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane are both on the three-man shortlist for the 2018 CAF African Player of the Year award.
Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang completes the nominees.
It is Salah who is the current holder of the award, having beaten off competition from the same pair 12 months ago.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony in Dakar on January 8th, a day after Liverpool travel to Wolves in the FA Cup third round.

Both Salah and Mane are unlikely to feature at Molineux, however, with some rest badly needed after a relentless run of fixtures.
It has been a memorable year for Salah, in particular, who is the overriding favourite to take home the award.
He was the inspiration behind Liverpool’s thrilling run to the Champions League final and his injury in Kiev proved key.
Mane has continued to go from strength to strength, too, scoring in the final and remaining an influential presence as the Reds top the Premier League.
