Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren will miss his side’s clash with Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend it has been confirmed, the Mirror reports.
Lovren was replaced just four minutes into the Reds’ clash with Wolves on Monday night in the third-round of the FA Cup after suffering a hamstring injury.
Liverpool went on to lose 2-1 at Molineux and it has now been confirmed that the defender will also have to miss their upcoming fixture with Brighton.
No timescale has yet been put on the Croatian’s return and he could be deemed fit for his side’s match with Crystal Palace the following week.

Lovren’s injury adds to Liverpool’s already defensive crisis with Joe Gomez and Joel Matip both too currently sidelined with injuries.
Jurgen Klopp now looks likely to have to choose between playing Fabinho or Georginio Wijnaldum at the heart of the Liverpool defence against Brighton this weekend.
Fabinho occupied the position in the defeat to Wolves whilst Wijnaldum has been utilised in the position before.
