It wasn’t too long ago when Liverpool were being linked with a move for Real Madrid star Marco Asensio.
The 23-year-old has been widely regarded as one of Madrid’s brightest prospects and he’s already played a significant number of games for the first-team in the last few years.
However, according to reports, the Spaniard is unhappy at Madrid under manager Santiago Solari and as such, he could look for a move this summer.

It would certainly make sense for them to be looking for a player of Asensio’s quality and he would help fill a need in the squad.
Asensio predominantly plays in a wide-left role for the European Champions, but he can also play on the right or in central areas and Jurgen Klopp is a big fan of players with such versatility.
Recent away performances have raised questions about Liverpool’s possible need for another attacker and if one as good as Asensio is on the market, the Reds would be foolish not to be interested.
