Trent Alexander-Arnold has teased that his future could lie in a different position for Liverpool.
The 20-year old has excelled for the Reds as a right-back, earning himself an England call-up, and is considered by many to be a major contender as a defensive mainstay for both Liverpool and England in the future.
However, the full-back has admitted that he would be happy to play further forward, if the manager decided it was in the team’s best interest.

When asked by Gary Lineker on the Premier League Show whether he would consider moving into midfield, as reported by Mirror Sport, Alexander-Arnold said:
That’s up to the manager. I’m happy to play wherever he puts me I think.
Right now obviously he sees me as a full-back and I’m more than happy playing there.
I think it’s important to bring different dimensions to the position.
Obviously when I was growing up Ashley Cole came in and showed that you don’t have to just be a defender as a full-back.
He came in and dominated going forward, brought a new dimension and changed the way full-backs are now.
