Liverpool vs Spurs: Combined XI

With the end of the season edging nearer, the top four race is heating up. Spurs head to Anfield on Sunday as they look to take three points off the table toppers while widening the gap between them and North London rivals Arsenal.

Jurgen Klopp’s men cannot afford to drop any points if they hope to keep their Premier League title dreams alive. With Manchester City facing Fulham on Saturday and maintaining their game in hand, the Reds will be looking to stay as close to the top as they can with a win.

Only Trent Alexander-Arnold looks set to miss the fixture with a back problem that forced him to miss the Euro 2020 qualifiers with England. Harry Winks could be making a return after a spell on the sidelines with a groin injury.

Ahead of the game we looked closely at both teams involved in this top-of-the-table clash and narrowed them down to just one starting XI.

With current form and past accomplishments all factoring into deciding the team, we picked a world-class XI that would definitely be contending for the title.
