Porto’s Alex Telles will be fit for the first-leg of the Champions League quarter-final clash against Liverpool, according to a report from Portuguese outlet Zero Zero (translated by Inside Futbol).
The left-back is one of the key men in a Porto side that have impressed thus far in the competition, and had been a doubt for the match after injuring himself taking a penalty in a recent Primeira Liga match.
It seems, however, that the 26-year-old will be ready for the trip to Merseyside after he participated in conditioning training Thursday.
Having made 40 appearances in all competitions so far this season for Porto, the defender’s importance to the back four of the Portuguese champions is plain to see.

With the prospect of facing up against Mohamed Salah, you can imagine why the Porto faithful were eagerly awaiting the return of the Brazilian international.
Sergio Conceicao’s team will be trying to get off to a better start in the tie this year than they did last term, after the Reds inflicted a 5-0 defeat on his side in the first-leg at the Round-of-16 stage.
