Liverpool continued their hunt for the Premier League title with an impressive 2-0 victory over Chelsea at Anfield thanks to Sadio Mane and a Mohamed Salah thunderbolt.
But our attention now turns to the players out on loan from Anfield and how they performed at the weekend. Here is how they got on.
Danny Ings – Southampton
Ings played 61 minutes up top before being replaced by Shane Long and picked up an assist.
Nathan Redmond (2) and Long got the goals in a 3-1 victory over Wolves with Willy Boly scoring for Wolves.
The victory meant that the Saints moved up to 16th place in the Premier League.

Nathaniel Clyne – Bournemouth
Clyne was an unused substitute for Bournemouth as he missed out on his side’s 5-0 smashing of Brighton away from home.
Dan Gosling, Ryan Fraser, David Brooks, Callum Wilson and Junior Stanislas all got on the scoresheet that sent Bournemouth up to 12th place in the Premier League.

Harry Wilson – Derby County
Wilson played 83 minutes at right wing for Derby before being replaced by Florian Jozefzoon in a 4-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers.
Mason Mount scored a hat-trick and Craig Bryson scored the goals and Derby remained in eighth place in the Championship – two points from a play-off place.

Ovie Ejaria – Reading
Ejaria played the full game left of a midfield three and also picked up a yellow card in an impressive 2-1 victory over Brentford at home.
Yakou Meite scored both the goals for the Royals and Neal Maupay scored a consolation for the travelling side.

Marko Grujic – Hertha Berlin
Grujic’s side were involved in yet another defeat but the Serb missed out on the game due to injury.
Nadiem Amiri and Reiss Nelson scored the goals that seen Hoffenheim to a 2-0 victory at their place.
Hertha Berlin remained in 11th place in the Bundesliga.

Loris Karius – Besiktas
Karius played the full game in goal but conceded one in a 2-1 victory over rivals Istanbul Basaksehir.
Robinho got the only goal for Istanbul and Burak Yilmaz and Atiba Hutchinson were on the scoresheet for Besiktas.
Karius’ side remained in third place in the Europa League qualification places in the Turkish Super Lig.

Ojo again didn’t feature in the squad for Reims as they played out a scoreless draw away at Monaco – Reims moved down to seventh place in Ligue 1.

Pedro Chirivella – Extremadura UD
Chirivella again didn’t feature for Extremadura as his side beat Malaga 2-1 away from home with Lolo Gonzalez and Jose Antonio Pardo scoring for the victors.
Gustavo Blanco got the goal for Malaga and Extremadura remained in 19th place in the Spanish Segunda Division – in the relegation zone, one point away from safety.

Kamil Grabara –AGF Aarhus
Grabara again played the full game in goal for AGF and kept another clean sheet as AGF beat SonderjyskE 1-0 away from home thanks to a Patrick Mortensen goal.
AGF are top of Group 1 in the Superligaen play-offs.

Taiwo Awoniyi – Royal Mouscron
The Nigerian forward was still injured for Mouscron as his side drew 2-2 to Zulte Waregem with Dimitri Mohamed and Frank Boya getting the goals for Awoniyi’s side.
Marco Burki and Henrik Bjordal both scored for Waregem as Mouscron stayed in fifth place in the Belgium Jupiler League.

The Scottish Premiership was inactive at the weekend, so Ryan Kent’s Rangers, Liam Millar’s Kilmarnock and Adam Bogdan’s Hibernian did not play.
