Bayern Munich have reportedly dropped out of the race to sign Hakim Ziyech, who has been linked with a summer switch to Liverpool in recent times.
The Bundesliga giants appeared to have been interested in signing the playmaker from Ajax in the upcoming transfer window, with the Reds joining them in their interest.
However, according to claims from German news outlet Kicker, as cited in a report from Calciomercato, Niko Kovac’s side are no longer pondering a summer swoop for the player.

The news is certain to come as a boost for Liverpool, who seem to have set their sights on Ziyech as they look to add more creativity to their squad ahead of next season.
In what has been a famous season for Ajax, the Morocco international has played a pivotal role, helping them to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Ziyech’s league form has been most impressive, though. The 26-year-old has scored 16 times in Eredivisie fixtures this term, with a further 15 assists to his name, too.
