Julian Brandt revealed he is happy to stay at Bayer Leverkusen “as things stand,” but did not rule out a move to Liverpool, with the Reds said to be keen on a move for the versatile winger.
The 23-year-old played a key role in Leverkusen’s emphatic 6-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt last weekend, scoring his side’s second goal of the game in an extraordinary first half.
All seven goals came before half time at the BayArena on Sunday, meaning the Bundesliga side have now scored 10 goals in their last two league games following a 4-1 win over Augsburg in their previous outing.

And Brandt revealed to the official Bundesliga website that he is “enjoying” life at Leverkusen this season, with his side currently battling with Frankfurt for a Champions League spot, and is happy to stay with the Bundesliga side despite interest from Liverpool.
It’s going really well right now. I’m enjoying myself. I’ve got a contract with Bayer until 2021, so right now all is well. As things stand, I’m staying put. I just want to end the season as best we can.
The winger has scored six goals and created 11 assists in the Bundesliga this season.
