After just clinching the final spot for the play-offs, Harry Wilson’s Derby County are through to the final at Wembley in a bid to clinch the last remaining spot in the Premier League.

The Rams play Aston Villa next Monday after they beat West Brom on penalties on Tuesday night.

Wilson played 93 minutes for Derby and even scored from the spot and assisted Mason Mount’s goal that originally sent Frank Lampard’s side into the lead.

The Welshman has been Derby’s star man this season scoring 18 times and getting six assists in 48 games in all competitions.

There is a lot of speculation about Wilson’s future at Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp should certainly have him in mind for next season.

Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino have cemented their places in the attacking front three for the foreseeable future – but Wilson will certainly be a viable squad and replacement player for the 2019/20 campaign.

The Reds didn’t quite claim the title this season and there are questions to whether Klopp’s side is deep enough to challenge for the Premier League.

With a lot of players out on loan, Wilson is certainly one of the best options and one Klopp should certainly consider for his side.
