Turkish giants Fenerbahce have made Arsenal’s Nacho Monreal a target if they fail to land Liverpool’s Alberto Moreno this summer, according to Inside Futbol.
Moreno is set to end his five-year association on Merseyside this summer when his current Reds deal expires.
Fenerbahce and Benfica have been the front runners to secure the Spaniard’s services, with the Turkish giants keeping Moreno as their first-choice target.
The 26-year-old has made just five Reds appearances this season and has fallen out of contention following Andy Robertson’s Anfield arrival.
However, reports state that Arsenal’s Monreal has emerged as a possible alternative for the Turkish side.

Monreal started for the Gunners on Wednesday night as Unai Emery’s side fell to a Europa League final defeat to Chelsea.
The 33-year-old’s current Arsenal deal expires in the summer, however, the club have the option to extend the left-back’s deal for a further 12 months.
If they do indeed exercise that option, it could well be Moreno who makes the move to Turkey over Monreal.
