Wolves’ Ruben Neves has spoken about the rumours linking him with Liverpool, saying that he is “proud” to be linked with the Reds.
Neves has been a key figure for Wolves since making the move from Portugal, helping the Black Country side gain promotion from the Championship, and then secure seventh place in the Premier League and with that, Europa League football.
With those performances, he has then been linked with a move away from Wolves, with several sides including Liverpool and Manchester City being touted with a switch for Neves.

However, speaking ahead of Portugal’s Nations League final campaign, Neves revealed he is proud that he could potentially be taking his career further, but refused to speak about where he could end up.
Neves said, via Anfield HQ:
It is obvious that it is a pride to be able to take the name of Portugal further, for that is the goal.
But it is not the moment to think about the future, we have a competition to win. We are focused on the next game with Switzerland (the semi-final).
Neves got four goals and three assists for Wolves last season, with the Midlands side shocking many by securing a Europa League spot.
