Liverpool famously came back from their 3-0 first-leg defeat at the Nou Camp to advance to the final, and it looked like happy these supporters wanted to rub their victory in the noses of the Spanish champions.
Liverpool’s 4-0 win at Anfield in the second leg of the semi-final will live long in the memories of both sets of supporters and it holds even more significance now that Liverpool went on to win the final.
One of the Reds fans also made a slight dig at Philippe Couthino, who left Liverpool in January 2018 in rather controversial circumstances. The Brazilian did everything he could to force a move away from Anfield and he eventually got his wish as the Reds sold him for over £140m.
“Sorry Philippe!” says it all really!
