The England international was not able to play a part on the pitch for the Reds last season after a serious knee injury he sustained in April 2018 against AS Roma in the Champions League.

However, having returned to fitness towards the back-end of Liverpool’s historic recent campaign, it seems he has proven his worth to Jurgen Klopp, and a new deal is on the table.
The Reds are stocked with a plethora of midfield options following last summer’s acquisitions of Naby Keita and Fabinho.
Nevertheless, Oxlade-Chamberlain will be keen to revive his pre-injury form to force his way into Klopp’s starting line-up once again as Liverpool push to pip Manchester City to the Premier League title next season.
