It remains to be seen where the centre-back will be playing when the Premier League restarts in a few months time, but at just 17, the starlet has plenty of time to be integrated into the first team squad.
The Netherlands youth international admitted that at first, he thought Liverpool’s interest in him was a joke but he says he is ready to cement himself as a legend at Anfield in the years to come.
The main reasons for the player joining the club were due to Jurgen Klopp, the fan base and fellow Netherlands centre back Virgil van Dijk.
