Dejan Lovren’s agent has held talks with AC Milan over a potential switch, despite Jurgen Klopp revealing the defender is not for sale.
Calciomercato report that Lovren’s agent, Vlado Lemic, met with Milan officials to discuss a potential deal that could see the Croatian swap Anfield for the San Siro.
This is despite Jurgen Klopp revealing he has no plans to sell Lovren, and wants to keep the defender at Anfield.

Lovren won’t be the first choice for the Reds any time soon, with Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip the first choice defenders for Klopp’s side.
However, the German sees Lovren as a solid rotation option and is reluctant to sell.
Milan would offer Lovren more playing time, but would likely have to offer him a lower salary than he is currently on at Anfield.
According to TeamTalk, the deal would see him earn €3 million at the San Siro, a whole €2 million less than he currently earns for Liverpool.
