Liverpool are thought to be considering a shock move for Burnley goalkeeper Tom Heaton, according to the Daily Mail, cited by the Mirror.
The report claims that Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to bolster his options between the sticks and has identified Heaton as a summer target.
Aston Villa are also interested in a move for the 33-year-old, who has just 12 months left on his current Burnley deal.

Heaton, capped three times by England, has been on the books at Turf Moor for the past six years, establishing himself as a real fan favourite during his stint in Lancashire.
Klopp is keen to look into a possible goalkeeper addition with Simon Mignolet’s immediate future is still up in the air.
The Reds have drafted in veteran free agent Andy Lonergan for their US pre-season tour, however, Klopp could well decide to launch a formal move for Heaton in the coming weeks.
