Liverpool have been linked with a move for Juventus star Paulo Dybala in the recent past, as have Manchester United, but the North-West giants could see any potential moves for the Argentinian scuppered as Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing him.
According to a report from Football London, Spurs have contacted Juventus about the 25-year-old as they are interested in a deal to take him to north London.
Mauricio Pochettino is reportedly a huge admirer of his fellow countryman and he would love to add the forward to his squad, where could add him to his already impressive array of attacking options.
Juventus are apparently willing to let Dybala leave but they’ll be looking at a deal worth in the region of £80m, a fee that would shatter Tottenham’s record transfer fee if they were to pay it.
That fee would also break Liverpool’s transfer record if they were to pay it, but all suggestions are that the Reds are not looking to spend big money this summer, so the door could be open for Spurs to swoop in and make a sensational transfer.
