Liverpool appear likely to miss out on the signing of Nicolas Pepe with Arsenal set to complete a deal for the highly sought after winger within the next 48 hours.
That’s according to BBC Sport’s David Ornstein, who suggests the Gunners have agreed a 5-year-deal for the Ivory Coast international and will pay LOSC Lille the €80million fee in instalments.

Liverpool were one of four sides to have met Lille’s €80million valuation of Pepe, alognside Arsenal, Inter Milan and Napoli, however it appears Unai Emery’s side have won the race to sign the winger.
The Ivory Coast international was a standout figure in Ligue 1 last season, scoring 22 goals and creating 11 assists to help Lille to a second placed finish in the French top flight.
Arsenal will reportedly complete the signing upon agreeing a deal with the winger’s agent.
