According to Calcio Mercato Tottenham are getting ready to strike a deal with Ajax ace David Neres. In the article, it goes onto to say that Tottenham are willing to pay £54m for Neres.
Everton are reportedly willing pay £45m for the versatile winger, however, with Tottenham’s reported bid being greater, the Toffees will need to up their price for Neres.
According to reports in England, Liverpool and Chelsea seem interested in the 22-year-old forward. However, with Chelsea having a transfer ban, a deal with Ajax is unlikely.

The Brazil international played 50 games in all competitions and contributed 18 goals last season. His stats do not justify his technique and work-rate on the pitch. Neres was key to Ajax’s successful and outstanding campaign last season in the Champions League.
Jurgen Klopp recently played down speculations that Liverpool will be active in the transfer market. But, if Neres was to join Liverpool, he will add dynamism, depth, and flair which that Liverpool midfield craves.
