Liverpool have finally confirmed the signing of exciting Fulham prospect Harvey Elliott, making him the Reds’ second capture of the summer.
Elliott arrives at Anfield following the £1.3million signing of 17-year-old Dutch defender Sepp van den Berg at the end of June.
It’s been known for some weeks now that the winger was on his way to Liverpool, but the club tweeted this morning to confirm the news:

Aged just 16, Elliott became the youngest player to ever debut in the Premier League in Fulham’s match against Wolves in May, at 16 years and 30 days.
He made three first-team appearances for the relegated Cottagers last season and is considered to be one of the most intriguing youth talents in English football.
Elliott will now join up with the rest of the squad ahead of final pre-season preparations against Napoli in Edinburgh and then the Evian-based training camp.
