Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala would have ‘no doubts’ about joining Liverpool or Manchester City rather than Manchester United, according to former star Andrea Dossena.
Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, cited by the Mirror, Dossena was sceptical about United’s chances of challenging for major honours, in comparison to their Premier League rivals and Juventus:
Manchester United are a football superpower, but for me, they are not ready to win big in Europe, as perhaps Juve could be. If the team in question had been Liverpool or Manchester City, in my opinion, he [Dybala] would have had no doubts. United is more of a construction site at the moment.

Although it seems like Dybala is almost certain to be a United player when the summer transfer windows shuts next week, it’d be monumental if the Reds were to swoop for his signature in the 11th hour.
The 25-year-old is suited best playing in behind the striker, so Jurgen Klopp would have to slightly alter his favoured 4-3-3 formation to accommodate, but he can also star on the right-wing and as a false nine.
Liverpool should be fine if Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are firing as usual, but the European champions would go a step better by recruiting Dybala.
His Juventus departure is resting on Romelu Lukaku moving the other way though, which makes the likelihood of him facing the Reds this season, rather than representing them, high.
