The Catalan giants have confirmed the deal, ending any chance Liverpool had of landing the left-back.

Firpo is a product of the Real Betis youth academy and stood out in their side last season as he broke through into the first-team squad in La Liga.
The 22-year-old has now signed a long-term deal with Barcelona, for a fee in the region of £27m – including add-ons.
According to The Mirror, Liverpool were interested in a deal to sign Firpo earlier in the transfer window, with Jurgen Klopp looking for a left-back.
Andy Robertson is the only senior left-back at the club, following Alberto Moreno’s departure in July.
