Liverpool’s goalkeeper crisis really hit a precipice on Friday, with a little more than 24 hours before the Reds kick off at Southampton.
Jurgen Klopp admitted Adrian is a doubt to play, having been injured by a fan on Wednesday night.
In the immediate aftermath of the UEFA Super Cup win, it appears a fan slid into the pile of celebrating players, with penalty hero Adrian taking the brunt of the contact.

Adrian was signed as backup to Alisson just 11 days ago. The Seville native was then thrust into action when Liverpool’s No.1 was injured partway through the Premier League opener with Norwich City.
He proved he is capable of the job in his first start, stopping the fifth and final penalty to help the Reds win their fourth Super Cup.
Needless to say Liverpool could need another new goalkeeper and they have just 24 hours to find one, either through the emergency loan system or through another unsigned veteran similar to Adrian.
