Jordan Henderson produced a superb individual moment last weekend that generally went under the radar.
The Liverpool captain was typically industrious in the Reds’ 3-1 win over Arsenal at Anfield, but one beautiful first-half pass caught the eye.
The 29-year-old hit a first-time effort straight into the path of the on-rushing Andy Robertson, in a moment his predecessor Steven Gerrard would have been proud of.
Liverpool supporters have since reacted to the moment of brilliance on Twitter, lauding Henderson’s technical expertise.

Read Liverpool Verdict
Although far from the most earth-shattering pass, it does sum up how underrated Henderson remains as a footballer.
While the midfielder has gained more admirers after last season’s Champions League success, not to mention a strong 2018 World Cup campaign with England, some fans still have it in for him, and always will.
Put simply, if he wasn’t a good footballer, he would be nowhere near this European Cup-winning Liverpool side, not to mention continuing to be made captain by someone of Jurgen Klopp’s stature.
Henderson will always remain limited compared to the truly elite midfielders, but he has shown what he can bring to the table during eight years at Anfield, making him the club’s longest-serving player currently.
