Liverpool stubbornness in not allowing Ryan Kent to leave this summer continues to be baffling.
The 22-year-old has pushed for another loan move away in the last couple of months, in order to enjoy regular first team football.
Kent excelled at Rangers last season, catching the eye with his attacking performances and winning PFA Scotland’s Young Player of the Year award.
Now, according to Sky Sports News, the wide man has his “heart set” on a return to Ibrox, although clubs from France and Belgium are also interested in acquiring his signature.

It’s so difficult to criticise any of Liverpool’s transfer business in the Jurgen Klopp era, when looking at how many decisions he and the transfer committee have got correct.
Their treatment of Kent makes little sense, however, considering he is seemingly nowhere near the first team setup.
The youngster should be allowed to leave on loan again, rather than potentially rot in the under-23s – a level he is now comfortably above after his spell in Scotland.
Liverpool are risking stunting Kent’s progress at a crucial time in his career, when Rangers would likely jump at the chance to take him back.
