Alisson’s miraculous last-gasp save against Napoli last season was one of the biggest moments of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool tenure to date.
In an interview with Marca, the Brazilian picked out the dramatic stop to deny Arkadiusz Milik as his greatest contribution yet for the Reds:
It is difficult to choose one moment, but I think the most important for me was against Napoli at Anfield, against Milik, in the final minutes of the last phase of the Champions League groups.
It was a save that effectively kept Liverpool in the Champions League, preventing what would have a devastating group stage exit, before they went on to win the competition.

Alisson enjoyed a magnificent first season at Liverpool, outlining his status as the world’s best goalkeeper currently.
The great players produce in the biggest moments and that’s precisely what the 26-year-old did against Napoli.
While some rival supporters were quick to claim that Milik’s shot ‘just hit’ Alisson, he made himself enormous and came off his line incredibly quickly.
His current injury absence is a huge blow for Liverpool, even though they are winning without him and they need one of the star men back as soon as possible.
