Ugurcan Cakir would be an ideal man for Liverpool to bring in as a long-term backup to Alisson.
According to Star TV, the Reds are considering a move for the Trabzonspor goalkeeper and were impressed by him in Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Fenerbahce, where he made eight saves.
The 23-year-old has been scouted by Liverpool a number of times, with a view to making him a long-term acquisition between the sticks.
They will monitor his progress in the coming months before deciding whether or not to go through with a potential £14 million deal.

It’s already been a dramatic start to Liverpool’s goalkeeping situation this season, with Alisson injured in their Premier League opener at home to Norwich City.
The club remain coy about when the world-class Brazilian will return and Adrian will be trusted to be first choice for the time being.
He is more of a short-term fix, however, and Cakir is clearly a talented ‘keeper with great potential, who should only improve in the coming years.
Should he continue to shine, and Liverpool do end up agreeing a move for him, it may be that Adrian is gone by next summer.
