Gini Wijnaldum is being lauded by not just Liverpool fans, but neutrals too after topping off his eye-catching display for the Netherlands against Germany with a stunning assist for the visitors’ third goal.
Ronald Koeman’s side came out 4-2 victors at the Volksparkstadion to boost their chances of EURO 2020 qualification, with Wijnaldum putting the nail in the coffin with a goal of his own in stoppage time.
It was his assist for Donyell Malen’s strike that put the Netherlands back ahead that has stolen the headlines though, and his touch of brilliance is being widely recognised…

Plenty have been left amazed by Wijnaldum’s performance on the international stage, with some suggesting it’s actually a different player than who has been playing for Liverpool.
He was a joy to watch in such a huge game and proved just how underrated his role in the Reds’ rise under Jurgen Klopp has been.
The Netherlands have got two real players in Wijnaldum and Virgil van Dijk and must be considered amongst the favourites to lift the trophy at Wembley next summer.
