Football supporters love discussing endless aspects of the game, from new signings to most loathed rival players.
A topic that often makes for plenty of varying opinions is underrated individuals – those who merit for love than they receive.
I have posed the question to Reds supporters on Twitter, with some interesting responses.
Here are some of the best.

Read Liverpool Verdict
It’s no great surprise to see both Joel Matip and Jordan Henderson feature prominently, both of whom have their admirers but also receive harsh criticism.
It is Mohamed Salah’s inclusion that is most interesting, however – there’s actually some truth to it.
Although Liverpool’s Egyptian King earns lots of praise for his brilliance, and is undoubtedly considered world class, some fans still don’t realise just how special he is.
Seventy-five goals in 112 appearances is a staggering return and opponents often double-up on him, making life even more tough.
Such is the subjective nature of football, however, fans’ opinions will always differ.
