Read Liverpool Verdict
This is comedy at its finest, going to show that VAR will make numerous supporters look foolish in the coming years.
It is a shame that it now feels odd celebrating a goal, though, in case it is swiftly ruled out, which undoubtedly takes some of the joy away from the game.
At the end of the day, however, Liverpool benefited from the correct decision – the result could have been so different if Azpilicueta’s goal had stood and Chelsea made it 1-1.
If you don’t like VAR, at least you can thank it for this wonderful footage!
