Liverpool are set to avoid explusion from the Carabao Cup, after the EFL decided to hand down a fine of £200,000 for fielding an ineligible player in the win over MK Dons.
The Reds, who beat MK Dons with a much changed side, sent on Pedro Chirivella from the bench during the victory.

However, the Spaniard was inelgibile for the game, meaning Liverpool could have faced expulsion from the competition.
Paul Joyce of the Times however has confirmed that Liverpool will only have to pay off a fine of £200,000 as punishment.
