Dominik Szoboszlai would be an exciting signing by Liverpool, bringing more quality and depth to midfield and attacking areas.
The 18-year-old started and played 71 minutes at Anfield on Wednesday, as his Salzburg side were beaten 4-3 by the Reds in a memorable Champions League clash.
According to Calciomercato, via Sport Witness, Liverpool are interested in signing Szoboszlai in the near future.
The midfielder is wanted by a host of clubs, however, including Juventus, Inter Milan and Arsenal, with the latter reportedly having scouts at Anfield watching him.
Acquiring his services will, therefore, not be easy.

In truth, Szoboszlai was actually one of Salzburg’s less noticeable players, on a night when the Austrian side gave a superb account of themselves at Anfield.
The teenager is a gifted emerging talent, though, having already scored three goals and registered three assists this season from the left side of midfield.
There is still a feeling that some depth is required in Liverpool’s squad and Szoboszlai would be both a current and long-term acquisition, especially with the likes of James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum not getting any younger.
The Salzburg star is rated at £15 million.
