Few Liverpool players in history have been better value-for-money signings than Andy Robertson.
The 25-year-old has been a revelation since arriving for £10 million from Hull City in 2017, becoming a hugely influential figure.
Robertson’s brilliance hasn’t gone unnoticed, with many of the opinion that he is currently the best left-back in the world.
Someone who believes that is the case is Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell, in quotes published by FourFourTwo:
He’s a great player.
He’s been the best full-back in the world, I’d say, and that’s not even an exaggeration.
I definitely watch his game, as someone who’s a little older, and when Liverpool are on TV, I watch him to see what he’s doing and how I can improve.
Someone like him, who’s getting assists and going forward, he’s one of the best.

Chilwell will come up against Robertson on Saturday afternoon, when third-place Leicester make the trip to Anfield.
The Liverpool left-back is unrivalled on current form, with his all-round game bordering on perfect.
Chilwell is a top player in his own right, however, and the Reds will need to be wary of his attacking runs from deep.
Mohamed Salah doesn’t always track his men – that is likely an order from Jurgen Klopp – but Trent Alexander-Arnold could become isolated if Chilwell is constantly allowed to burst forward unmarked.
