Trent Alexander-Arnold is one of the most exciting young players in world football, fulfilling his childhood dream at Liverpool.
Still only 20, the right-back is already an indispensable member of Jurgen Klopp’s all-conquering Reds side.
In a Twitter post by Goal, a photo showing the up-and-coming superstars of the game was revealed:

Bizarrely, there was no sign of Alexander-Arnold, despite all that he has achieved in the past few years.
These Liverpool supporters, eagle-eyed as ever, were quick to let their feelings known on Twitter.
You're an anti-Liverpool site. We get it.

Soooooo, where is Trent? But you got Kean, James and Rashford here?

We'll casually throw in Daniel James, but ignore the lad who has appeared in two Champions League finals at the age of 20.
Sounds about right. https://t.co/9SzWO9UK04

It is admittedly only a harmless social media post, but still, Alexander-Arnold’s omission feels odd.
He has already appeared in two Champions League finals, despite his tender years – he is the youngest-ever player to start in back-to-back showcase events in the competition.
Alexander-Arnold is arguably the most influential attacking right-back in the world at the moment, providing endless quality down the right flank week in, week out.
Quite how someone like Daniel James has been used in the photo instead, despite the odd glimpse of quality at Manchester United for a couple of months, beggars belief.
