There was a time when watching Manchester United was painful for Liverpool supporters, as they won most weeks and racked up trophy after trophy.
The post-Alex Ferguson era has been a disaster, however, even if the odd piece of silverware has arrived.
United are arguably at their lowest ebb yet, already sitting 12 points behind Liverpool in the Premier League and looking completely lost under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
They drew 0-0 away to AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League on Thursday night, in another uninspiring game, creating a brilliant new statistic in the process.
Writer Daniel Storey realised that even Bury won away from home more recently than United, despite going out of existence earlier this season:
I'm not saying it's going badly, but Bury have won away from home more recently than Manchester United and they aren't a club anymore.

Needless to say, these Liverpool supporters, and rival fans in general, couldn’t hide their delight at the stat.
Since Manchester United last won away from home, Aston Villa have seven away wins, Southampton & Wolves five, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Sheffield United & West Ham four each. Even Newcastle have three.

Read Liverpool Verdict
Liverpool fans should be drinking in every second of United’s struggles – given their wealth and potential to eventually attract a top manager, this won’t last forever.
It is quite staggering how far they have fallen since the glory days under Ferguson, when it felt as though they would dominate English football forever.
There is so much going wrong both on and off the pitch – perhaps the greatest aspect is that Liverpool couldn’t be any different.
They have a world class manager, a wonderful set of players and behind the scenes the club is being run excellently.
