Liverpool fans react to late winner against Leicester

Liverpool beat Leicester City 2-1 at Anfield in a very close encounter.

The first 30 minutes was very cagey, however Milner produced one little bit of magic when he let the in-form Sadio Mane make it 1-0 before half time.

In the second half, Liverpool dominated and it felt like it was a matter of time for them to get the second. But, Liverpool did not take their chances and it resulted in James Maddison equalising for the Foxes.

It was very tense at Anfield, and it felt like today was the day where Liverpool’s 100% record was coming to an end. However, Jurgen Klopp’s Reds got a penalty on the brink of death and James Milner converted it which continued Liverpool’s unbeaten record.

Fans across the world could not resist to express their delight on social media, here is what several Liverpool fans had to say.

READ LIVERPOOL VERDICT:

And breathe.

In my opinion, that was the biggest 3 points so far this season.

Today we showed that we can win without being at our best, and that is signs of champions.

Milner and Sadio both played fantastically today. Mane’s defensive work rate was phenomenal and out of this world.

Liverpool showed resilience, grit and determination. In previous years, Liverpool would have crumbled in these type of environments. But, Jurgen Klopp has installed backbone into this wonderful Liverpool side.
