Liverpool supporters hail Mane’s brilliance against Brazil

Sadio Mane is a strong contender for Liverpool’s Player of the Year so far, following some dazzling attacking performances for the Reds.

The 27-year-old is also thriving at international level, if his performance for Senegal against Brazil is anything to go by.

Mane took on teammates Fabinho and Roberto Firmino on Thursday, with the Liverpool stars playing out a 1-1 draw.

It was Mane who caught the eye more than anyone, however, winning a penalty and generally tormenting the Brazil defence.

These supporters reacted to the Liverpool No.10’s brilliance on Twitter.

There are still times when Mane feels underrated, but he is genuinely one of the best players in the world currently.

He is the most in-form of Liverpool’s much-lauded front-three and there is no more devastating left-sided player on the planet.

Some will lazily claim that the likes of Neymar and Eden Hazard are superior, but what have they achieved in comparison to Mane over the past 12 months?

He is a modern Liverpool great and he still has a number of years ahead of him.
