Liverpool are reportedly keeping tabs on Brighton defender Ben White ahead of a potential summer move.
The 22-year old centre-back is currently on loan with Leeds United, and his early season performances have impressed enough for Brighton to have slapped a £20million price tag on him.
With Dejan Lovren likely to leave Anfield by the end of the season, the Reds are on the look out for a new long-term replacement.

According to Football Insider, White is one such player who has been identified as a potential recruit, with Liverpool scouts having been “blown away” by his development under Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa.
White has quickly established himself as a major component in Leeds’ promotion push this season, with the Whites unlikely to want to part with the defender before their loan deal has concluded.
Brighton won’t want to let him leave either, with the report claiming that the club hope White can establish himself at the Amex once he returns to the club, having refused to sanction a permanent move in the summer.

White is someone who has certainly impressed this season, with many from the Leeds fan base having called on England to hand the defender his senior international debut call-up during the last break.
White has played every game in the Championship for Leeds this season, and as he continues to impress and push the Whites up the table, his stock will increase.
While he would be somewhat of a gamble in that it isn’t clear whether he could succeed at the top level, he could be worth the investment at just £20million, particularly with Lovren’s place in the squad needing to be filled once he leaves.
